The Safal Niveshak Mastermind is Here!

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life,” said Steve Jobs.

I’m sure you relate to Jobs’ statement very well, for if you are like me, you want to reclaim the reins of your life in your hands.

To do that, it’s very important that you take complete control of your financial future, rather than let someone else decide where you will be 10 or 20 years down the line.

Now you may ask – “But how do I take control of my financial future when I am so busy taking care of my present survival?”

It’s a very valid question, my dear friend. I have been through this very phase just a few years back, when I was worried not only about my financial future, but also about how to do it while being busy taking care of my present then.

But after making numerous mistakes along the way, and in the process learning the right ideas and forming good money habits, I have achieved my financial freedom (well, almost!).

Thanks to the willingness to take control of my financial life, now I don’t work for money for more than a couple of hours a day. Instead, I spend a large part of my time travelling, reading, writing, thinking, and playing…not with my stocks but with my kids. 🙂

You see, I did not have anyone to guide me when I was searching for my personal financial freedom. But you have help at hand!

Now if you are willing, here’s something I propose.

If financial freedom means to you…

  • Freedom from having to work, yet still being able to enjoy life without concern over money
  • Having your life’s basic costs covered, where you’re not worried about car or house payments anymore
  • Having enough money to meet your life’s most important goals
  • Having more time to do the things you really want to do

…I have a plan for you!

After last few months of endless work and last few days of sleeplessness :-), I feel happy to announce at your service…

The Safal Niveshak Mastermind
The Safal Niveshak Mastermind is a one-year course to help you reinvent how you invest, do work that matters, and in the process, get started on creating your financial freedom.

My idea of launching The Safal Niveshak Mastermind is two-pronged. This course will help you with…

  1. Deep and accelerated learning in value investing and personal finance to help you manage your money better; and
  2. Step-by-step guidance on turning your passion into a money-generating small business so that you can live your life the way you want.

I’ve sifted through a mountain of amazing books, documents, lectures, websites, and the last ten years of my personal experience as an investor and two as an entrepreneur to ensure that I bring the best ideas and lessons for you in value investing, personal finance, and living life on your own terms.

The goal of The Safal Niveshak Mastermind course is simple – To help you get richer every single day.

What You’ll Get By Joining The Safal Niveshak Mastermind
I’ve lined up a lot of things that you will receive when you become a part of The Safal Niveshak Mastermind

1. Premium Course in Value Investing
This course will include…

  • Lessons on identifying moats and analyzing specific sectors to help you build your circle of competence.
  • Lessons on building a latticework of mental models – the Charlie Munger way – to make better investment decisions.
  • Everything I teach through my “Art of Investing” Workshops, and much more.
  • Exclusive Forum to participate in learning exercises and discuss practical examples so that you can gain experience in doing your own independent analysis.

2. The Safal Niveshak True Wealth Letter
This will be a series of articles that will include…

  • Habit-Building Ideas on Investing & Personal Finance: You will receive practical and tested ideas in investing and personal finance that will help you bring about a sea change in the way you manage your money.
  • Book Reviews: If you have an excuse for not reading the amazing books on investing out there, don’t worry for I will present you the big ideas from some of the best investing books that I have read so far and will be reading over the next few months.

3. Course: Turn Your Passion into Paycheque
This is a course that a lot of tribesmen have requested me for. Here, you will learn the step-by-step method of turning your passion into a regular stream of money – or an alternative source of income – so that you can do what you love to do, and not be worried anymore about someone else deciding your financial life and future.

Through this course, I will share my experiences in changing my own life by reinventing the way I work, and guide you on how you can do it for yourself.

4. Special E-Books, Workbooks, Videos and Podcasts
From time to time, I will also send you special e-books, workbooks, videos and podcasts…all with the view of enhancing your learning in investing, personal finance, and turning your passion into lifelong earning.

How to Subscribe?
The Safal Niveshak Mastermind, with all its invaluable benefits as mentioned above, is priced at Rs 10,000/- (plus taxes) for an year’s subscription.

Please note that this is a “special, introductory price” for the Course and will be available till 25th August 2013 only.

It’s also the best I can offer you, given the immense value I believe The Safal Niveshak Mastermind will add to your life.

What is more, 20% of the fee I collect for The Safal Niveshak Mastermind, after meeting the costs of running the Course, would go towards sponsoring children through organizations like Akshay Patra, World Vision India, Against Malaria Foundation, and other such efforts.

So at the same time as you are transforming your relationship and results with your money, you will be helping to transform the lives of the underprivileged from poverty to self-reliance. I hope you appreciate that!

  1. Can you please confirm if all the material is via e-learning. I live in US and want to subscribe for this program. Please let me know.

  2. Just a note, World Vision is a Christian aid organisation, that works actively to convert people to Christianity. Funding it means your subscribers will be supporting Christian missionary activities in India. World Vision does not even employ people who are not Christians. While I dont have anything against Christians, however in order to convert people, they spread a lot of hatred & lies about other religions in India & elsewhere. Further the form of Christianity preached by these organisation is very fundamentalist & rabid and encourages conflict. You do not have to take my word for it, you can do your own research about World Vision.

    • Thanks for your insights on WV, Ram! Surprisingly, I had heard good words about the NGO, and from several people who have been associated with it for many years. Even I met one of the sponsored kids and she seemed reasonably happy.

Anyways, given your feedback, I’ll explore the matter and take suitable actions. Regards.

    Hi Vishal,

Tried paying online 4 times… the payment was not successful. You may want to look into it.

    cheers
    Nilesh

    • Dear Nilesh,

      Apologies for the inconvinience!

Unless it’s an international Credit Card, the gateway is not giving any problem as several people have subscribed.

Otherwise, if you are facing problems, please clear your cache memory, then close the browser, and then try again.

If you still face a problem, please write to me and I will look further into it.

      Thanks for your patience! 🙂

  4. Hi Vishal,
As it is e-learning, I hope the complete course materials (Videos, e-books etc) are going to be available to me always for further reference. Can you please confirm?

    Regards

  7. My questions?

    1) Will I be able to decide on which stocks to buy after the course for financial freedom?
    2) I am a bad learner (attention issues), how is the course structured in ways that helps me understand the concept and implement it?
    3) Is there any real time classess in the future which would be much better than e-learning?
    4) On call help, etc., is available?

    • Here are my replies, Siva…

      1) Will I be able to decide on which stocks to buy after the course for financial freedom?
My efforts through the lessons and exercises will be in that direction. Ultimately, it will depend on how much effort you put into learning the same.

      2) I am a bad learner (attention issues), how is the course structured in ways that helps me understand the concept and implement it?
There will be a lot of exercises to keep you interested and busy. 🙂 Finally, it would depend on your ability and willingness to learn.

      3) Are there any real time classes in the future which would be much better than e-learning?
I conduct my Art of Investing Workshops across a few cities in India, where I teach these lessons, but compressed in one day. Those Workshops are separate from this Course.

      4) On call help, etc., is available?
A large number of people subscribing to The Safal Niveshak Mastermind is quite a compliment to Safal Niveshak :-), but it also poses something of a problem. I shall not be able to handle this course on an informal basis, and thus won’t be taking up one-on-one questions by email.

However, I would like to welcome as much discussion and questions on the The Safal Niveshak Mastermind Forum. You understand my problem, I am sure.

Hopes these answers help you, Siva. Let me know if you’d be interested to subscribe. Regards.

  8. Sounds interesting.
Given that there is myriad material on all or most of the topics one looks forward to a distilled, understandable interpretation in your own proprietary style.
All the best on going commercial.

  9. Enrolled for the course and hoping to be a little more knowledgeable about investing by the time the course ends.

Best wishes on your initiative Vishal.

  10. how much time a week do you expect is needed for doing the course ? ofcourse the more the better but on an average ?

  11. Varun Darji says:

    Hi Vishal,

I am definetly interested in enrolling for the mastermind course. Given that the discount offer is available only till August 25, 2013, would it be posssible to enroll right now but start studying it in a few months?

    Happy investing!

    • Yes Varun! The lessons will all be in your email plus you can access them and download the PDFs from your membership page on the Safal Niveshak website. So you can read and absorb them at your leisure. That’s the power of an online course.

Hope this helps. I look forward to your subscription. 🙂

  12. Hi Vishal,

I have subscribed for the course. Looking forward for the same. When is the expected start date of the course?

  13. Hi Vishal

  14. Anshul Gaur says:

    HI Vishal,
I have send u an email regarding some issues which i had wrt Mastermind. Its from my email address anshul.anz@gmail.com. Request if u can look it up.. waiting foir ur reply..
Once again, there are many a person who would ewant to give u advise and charge u for it, but only a few who would educate and truly liberate u.. So great going…

    Anshul

  15. Hi vishal,

    I have some queries.
    1. My preferred medium of market investing is mutual funds . So does this course has anything to offer me ?

    2. I work in not for profit sector and kind of make peanuts for salary. So , in my income bracket , is financial freedom possible ?

    • Thanks for asking, Suruchi!

      1. If you don’t intend to invest in stocks directly, you should not take up this course.
      2. What are your plans? What drives you to continue working for a small salary?

      Regards,
      Vishal

      • Thanks .. I will give a thought whether i am ready to try my hands at stock and educate myself through the workshop

And for second question , small salaries are inherent part of ngo sector .. My work which i do for other people drives me .
. May i reframe my question , above which income bracket do you except people to invest ? I just wanted to get an idea , maybe this is not an appropriate place to ask..

        • Hi Suruchi, there is no specific income level that would decide whether you should invest in the stock market or not. If you are willing to do the hard work of identifying stocks on your own, and have money that you can put away for a period of 5+ years, stocks market is a good place to be in. But again, if you wish to keep investing through a few good MFs, there’s no compulsion to get in directly.

          Hope this helps. Regards.

  16. I have failed miserably as a trader and lost heavily due to poor decision making and psychology, will this course on investing help me? Also will this course only deal with theory of what buffet, munger and others have told or will it also cover practical options like indian stocks and sectors to choose. Will it help me when to buy and when to sell (which is the biggest decision one need to take when it comes to investing which will determine your profit and success)? And finally Any other payment options available to make the fees?

    • Here are my responses Raj –

I have failed miserably as a trader and lost heavily due to poor decision making and psychology, will this course on investing help me?
Based on what I will be covering in this course – how to make better investment decisions and how to behave well as an investor – yes this course will help you.

Will this course only deal with theory of what buffet, munger and others have told or will it also cover practical options like indian stocks and sectors to choose.
Yes, I will be talking about practical examples throughout the Course and especially while discussing how to analyze companies and sectors.

Will it help me when to buy and when to sell (which is the biggest decision one need to take when it comes to investing which will determine your profit and success)?
Yes, I will share the rules of when to buy and when to sell stocks. Just that it will be based purely on fundamental analysis and no technical analysis.

Any other payment options available to make the fees?
Apart from the online payment gateway, you can pay the fee via direct transfer to my bank account or cheque deposit. You can find details of my bank account on this page – http://www.safalniveshak.com/mastermind-fee-payment/

Look forward to your subscription. Regards.

  17. Hi Vishal,

This is my first email, though I have been following your efforts for almost an year. Its a great effort and this course is bound to take it even further. Thank you!
I am currently not in India, but assume can still take the Mastermind course. I have the following questions, and would like to clarify before I complete the sign-up process.

    I have been reading lot of material on value investing including Buffett & Munger articles etc., My biggest challenge has been putting this learning into practice due to various reasons. Would like to know if the course covers the following;

    1. Does it cover the basics of financials including different debt, MFs, Equity, derivatives etc., Not looking for in-depth on each, but to understand how each of these play in the markets.
    2. Does this cover various scenarios like sectors and the impact of macro conditions on them? For ex: real estate due to policy changes, or impact of rupee devaluation on IT companies etc.,
    3. Overall, does this course cover what to look for, how to look and where to look for details to improve the circle of competence.

    Thank you for your time.

    Regards,
    Chandra.

    • Thanks for your kind words, Chandra! Here are my replies…

Does it cover the basics of financials including different debt, MFs, Equity, derivatives etc., Not looking for in-depth on each, but to understand how each of these play in the markets.
This value investing course is just about stock markets and stock picking. However, I will be covering on mutual funds through the “True Wealth” letter that is also part of the subscription. There will be no discussion on debt and derivatives.

Does this cover various scenarios like sectors and the impact of macro conditions on them? For ex: real estate due to policy changes, or impact of rupee devaluation on IT companies etc.,
I will be talking about sector analysis in the 3rd module that will include the discussion on increasing your circle of competence.

Hope this helps. Look forward to your subscription. Regards.

  18. Would like to hear from Vishal regarding the 3 important questions put forward by Suruchi, Raj and Chandra, before deciding on joining the course.

  19. Vivek Krishna says:

    • Hi Abinash,

The lessons will 100% web-based and you can download their PDFs from your membership page on the Safal Niveshak website. So you can read and absorb them at your leisure.

Hope this helps. I look forward to your subscription. Regards.

  21. Hi Vishal
I tried enrolling but unable to so far. I am in USA and using USA credit card. Can you please let me know if the payment gateway works for international credit cards? Also i am hoping that you are keeping your best in this course ( i sensed slight drop in content value in your recent posts, sorry don’t take me in wrong sense. 🙂 )

    Thanks
    Prasanna

    • Dear Prasanna,

Try paying through a Visa or Amex card only, and not MasterCard. It should work.

Alternatively, can you pay through a direct bank transfer in case you have an Indian bank account?
